Music Director - Chandra Grover - September 2019
|
Our new director is Ipswich born musician and Music Director Chandra Grover. Chandra teaches piano and clarinet from her music studio in Felixstowe and she also directs a ladies' choir and a wind ensemble. As a talented performer she sings in an 'a cappella' choir, and plays clarinet in an orchestra and with a number of active music groups in Suffolk. She has an MBA and a teaching diploma awarded by London College of Music.
Music is what makes Chandra tick, as she said, "Magic happens when people sing together. It makes me smile when I hear gorgeous harmonies and I consider myself very fortunate to lead such a wonderful group - The Birkbeck Singers" |
